Podiatry Associates of Florida, Inc. is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Jacksonville, FL
Under the supervision of the Physician, the medical assistant is responsible for direct patient care and assisting the physician. The medical assistant is responsible for the patient flow in the office to include vital signs, history, tests, preparing exam room, chaperoning, scheduling appointments, triaging messages and phoning in prescriptions. The medical assistant must be able to prioritize tasks while maintaining quality standards and professional conduct. This position works under supervision of the physician.
*** We have two positions to fill. One at Jacksonville beach and the other on the westside ***
Qualifications:
-PODIATRY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED, but not required.
-Knowledge of insurance/verification
-Ability to interact well with diverse groups of people
-Computer and Internet experience, Microsoft Office Knowledge
-Basic medical terminology.
-Excellent customer service skills
-Ability to multi-task and complete projects
-Great attitude; ability to work within a team
